- Your details: full name, ID number and contact details.
- The client: name or company name and tax ID or ID number.
- Issue date and sequential number.
- Scope and period: the service provided according to the contract and the time span you are billing.
- Amount due: in figures and in words.
- Transfer details: bank, account type and account number.

How to word the scope and the period
The scope is the description of the service, and it should match what your contract or service order says. The period is the time the charge covers. The more specific they are, the fewer questions you will get before being paid.
- Better: “Technical support and equipment maintenance services, from September 1 to 30, 2026”.

It depends on the client and the country. In some cases they ask, in addition to the fee statement, for proof of social security payment, an activity report or a copy of the contract. Ask whoever hires you what they need, and you will avoid rejections caused by incomplete paperwork.

What supporting documents are requested besides the fee statement?
It depends on the client and the country. In some cases they also ask for proof of social security payment or an activity report. Ask whoever hires you which attachments they need.
Can I make one from my phone?
Yes. Open the generator, choose fee statement, fill in the details and download the PDF, ready to send by WhatsApp or email.
How often should I send the fee statement?
Your contract or your agreement with the client sets it: it may be monthly, per delivery or when the work is finished. Confirm the deadline for submitting it and respect it.
How is it different from a regular fee statement?
In its content: the one for services refers to a contract or agreement, states the scope and the period billed, and is often accompanied by attachments. The basic structure is the same.
Is a fee statement for services an invoice?
No. An invoice is a tax document with its own rules. If you are required to invoice, you must issue the one your country requires; if in doubt, consult an accountant.
